mineral commodity research
We perform global and regional inquiries on a broad spectrum of mineral commodities, including various industrial minerals (barite, gypsum, clays, wollastonite, vermiculite, talc, graphite,…) as well as metals (precious, base, ferrous and speciality metals) for our clients.
Some of these extensive mineral commodity databases are also available as a commercial product.
In addition, in cooperation with our partners and clients, we aim to communicate research that might be of interest to the wider public in peer-reviewed international journals (e.g. Heijlen et al., 2021)
mineral exploration and resource development
We offer a range in geological services for mineral exploration, including geological mapping and structural studies, geochemical and geophysical surveys, pitting, trenching and drilling campaigns with appropriate logging and data interpretation.
mineral sampling and characterisation
We advice on good sampling practice and develop sampling schemes both for mineral deposit evaluation and for quality control of bulk mineral products. Our approach to sampling is always rooted in the Theory of Sampling (ToS).
We further offer a range of techniques for investigation of the mineral samples (rock, drillcore, soil or bulk), such as optical microscopy methods, X-ray fluorescence (XRF) and other dedicated methods. Please contact us for more information.
technical reporting on mineral deposits
As dedicated EurGeols specialised in Economic Geology, we are qualified to produce CRIRSCO-compliant reports (NI43-101, JORC, PERC) of exploration results, mineral resources and reserves.
We also perform technical due diligence studies of mineral projects.
